It's over! It was one of the coldest New Year's Days in a long time, but the expected snow never came and the wind and waves were not a problem. We had visitors from 21 US states, two Canadian provinces and far away Germany, Russia and Nicaragua. A good time was had by all except perhaps Rosie the pig, who was quite out of her element. The Cook family, clockwise from Bill: Megan, Mariah and Bev. Bill & Mariah went swimming for the first time while Bev and Megan held the towels.

Rosie and Fred. Rosie is the one wearing the hat.

Emily Matesic, from Green Bay TV's Channel 2, not only reported, but got wet to do it properly.

Since Rosie didn't want the hat after all, properly dressed Fred the Clown poses with formally dressed J. R. Jarosh. Some pigs just have no taste.

What goes up must come down. The banner is put into storage for another year.
