This is a very simple search engine. ALL the words entered here will be searched for individually. If you want several words to be taken as a phrase, put double quotes (") around them. For example: If you say road width, it will find all instances of road and width, not necessarily together. But searching for "road width" (including the double quote marks) will return only those articles with both words together, in that sequence.

SEARCH HINTS:

Be sure your search terms are correctly spelled! This search engine will not be able to match approximate spellings.

Try entering singular or plural versions of your search terms; it may return different results.

MORE HINTS:

If you know the exact number of the reference you need, there is no need to search for it. Just go to the desired chapter and look up the section. Example: If you are looking for reference number 3.05, open Chapter 3 and you will find it between sections 3.04 and 3.06. It's that simple!
If you want to limit a keyword search to a single chapter, open that chapter in the Acrobat viewer, then use the Edit->Find (Control/F) function in Acrobat to look for the keyword.

To read Acrobat PDF files, you need the free Acrobat Reader. Once you install it in your computer, it will automatically pop into place when you need it in the future. Many government documents and manuals are published in this format, which preserves all graphics, text and colors, yet is word searchable and has a small file size.
