The Last Resort is my home in Door County, Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Michigan. It is both a place and an attitude.This web page has been developed for my friends who love Door County and the lake but can't always be there to enjoy it. Today, (Thursday, August 28, 2008) at 11 AM CDT the air temp is 74°F.
Very humid, some rain, windy.
Why does the view from the webcam change sometimes? I like to show the part of the shore where people are most likely to be in the summer. But in the Fall, the sun gets so low in the sky that it shines directly into the camera and makes an ugly picture. So I move the cam's angle south, to another part of the beach where the sun is not so obtrusive. Click here for all Door County webcams on one page!
